When you store OMI tokens in the web wallet, ECOMI maintains security and holds custody over the account's private keys, making things nice and simple for your everyday collector.
In saying that, it is technically a hot wallet, and it is your responsibility to ensure your personal security practices are up to scratch when using the app, the same way you would protect your VeVe account and login details.
You can log into the OMI web wallet using the exact details you use to access the VeVe app. It is also important to note that you can only store OMI tokens in the OMI web wallet that has been deposited to Layer 2 first.

To use the OMI token utilities in the VeVe Master Collector Program, you need to deposit some OMI tokens into your OMI web wallet.
Before depositing your tokens, you must first bridge your tokens to Immutable X layer 2.
We strongly suggest you take the time to understand the difference between layer 1 and layer 2 OMI tokens if you’re new to crypto, as sending your tokens to the wrong address may not be recoverable.
