Who Are These Instructions For?

This is for VeVe Collectors with OMI tokens stored in their VeVe wallet. Typically, this would be because you:

Sent your tokens to the app wallet prior to the token migration to Ethereum (pre-January 2022).
Have previously used the bridge instructions to deposit your OMI to layer 2, or
Have recently sold some VeVe collectibles, or other tradeable items, for OMI tokens and wish to withdraw them to your own wallet (this is only applicable once token utilities are live).

<aside> 🚨 Any OMI tokens stored inside the VeVe app wallet are Layer 2 OMI and must be withdrawn to Layer 1 if you want to send them to an exchange or Layer 1 application 🚨

How to Withdraw OMI from VeVe

To withdraw tokens from the VeVe app, you must first send them from your VeVe OMI wallet to the MetaMask wallet address you have already connected to Immutable X Layer 2.

These instructions will detail how to send OMI tokens from your VeVe app wallet to your own MetaMask wallet address on Layer 2, which you can then prepare to withdraw to Layer 1 (Ethereum) if you wish to use them on exchanges or store them in your personal wallets.

If you already have OMI in your MetaMask wallet on Layer 2 and wish to withdraw it back to Layer 1, please skip ahead.
